Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is attempting to schedule a meeting with Turkish President Erdogan following his victory in the presidential elections in May 2023, but the latter does not seem to accept.

The failure of the Turkish opposition alliance to win a majority in the parliamentary elections and its defeat in the second round of the presidential vote has opened the door for discussions about its future.

According to Turkish economic expert Abdulmuttalip Arpa, in an interview with Al-Estiklal, the new government under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan holds promising prospects due to its demonstrated coherence and coordination.

In the run-up presidential elections, President Erdogan reminisced about a notable incident in 2010, wherein he became embroiled in a confrontation with the IMF, which aimed to exert influence over Turkiye's political landscape.

Ironically, the UAE and Saudi Arabia media showed hostility toward Turkish President Erdogan, only to completely reverse their stance and rush to invest in Turkiye after his victory.
